Carpovirusine™  is a biological insecticide, recommended for control of codling moth and reduction in damage to fruit.

Mode of action: Carpovirusine contains a viru specific to codling moth, efficient against codling moth larvae in apple and pear. After ingestion of the product by the larvae, the virus replicates in the insect and leads to the death of the infected larvae.
 
Storage conditions: For application during the season (<8 months following manufacturing date), Carpovirusine  must be stored in a refrigerator or cold room (+4°C). In case of subsequent treatment and longer storage, keep product frozen (-18°C); thaw the day before the treatment at ambient temperature. Carpovirusine  can be frozen several times but the effect of repeated freezing on biological effectiveness has not been established.
